This position focuses on investigating the relationships between mantle dynamics, the magnetic field, and the evolution of complex life. The research aims to understand the effects of mantle convection on the magnetic field during inner core growth and explore its potential links to the evolution of life. The PhD student will work closely with Associate Professor Nicolas Flament (UOW) and Dr. Maylis Landeau (IPGP) as part of this interdisciplinary project.
