UniSQ Residential College Scholarship - 2025
The UniSQ Residential College Scholarship is offered by the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) to support students residing at UniSQ Residential Colleges in Toowoomba while undertaking an undergraduate program.
This opportunity is available for both new and continuing domestic students who meet the eligibility criteria, including financial need and relocation requirements. The scholarship is provided as a reduction in accommodation fees rather than a direct financial payment.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
- Have an annual household income that falls within the low-to-middle income threshold
- Be commencing or continuing their undergraduate studies at UniSQ
- Continuing students must have a GPA of at least 4.0
- Be residing or intending to reside at one of the UniSQ Residential Colleges, Toowoomba campus
- Have their principal place of residence at least 50 kilometres from UniSQ Toowoomba campus
- Be enrolled or intending to enrol in 2025 courses
- Not be a resident of Steele Rudd College, Block A or B
Selection Criteria
Applicants will be selected based on the following:
- Financial need: Applicants must provide evidence of financial circumstances as directed in the application process.
- Relocation evidence: Applicants must provide documentation proving that they are relocating from a permanent address at least 50 kilometres from the UniSQ Toowoomba campus.
- If the residence is not at least 50km away, applicants may claim exceptional circumstances with supporting documentation.
- Study Load: Must undertake at least two study units per semester/trimester (students taking only one unit may be considered in extenuating circumstances).
- Priority consideration: Extra consideration will be given to students relocating from more remote areas as defined by the Modified Monash Model – Health Workforce Locator.
