UniSQ International Student Support Scholarship  2025

The University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) is offering scholarships to support new international students beginning their studies in 2025. This scholarship is designed for students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, or research programs either on-campus, externally, or online.

The scholarship aims to attract high-achieving international students to UniSQ by reducing tuition fees and supporting academic excellence.

Scholarship Benefits and Value

  • Scholarship Type: Partial tuition fee reduction
  • Stipend Value: 15% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the approved program
  • Study Levels: Undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs
  • Study Course: Open to all programs offered by UniSQ
  • Citizen Type: International students
  • Duration: Applicable for the entire duration of the study program, contingent on maintaining satisfactory academic performance
  • Deadline: Open for all study periods in 2025

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Be an international student.
  2. Be a new commencing student in 2025.
  3. Be enrolled in on-campus, external, or online mode.
  4. Receive an offer to study at UniSQ for one of the study periods in 2025.
  5. Meet the academic and English proficiency requirements for their chosen UniSQ program.
  6. Not hold another UniSQ tuition fee scholarship.
  7. Not be a sponsored student, except when sponsored by an NGO or the government of a low or middle-income country.
  8. Not be studying through an offshore partner.

Selection Criteria 

Applicants will be assessed based on the following:

  1. Academic merit demonstrated in their UniSQ application.
  2. Fulfillment of UniSQ’s entry requirements, including academic and English language proficiency.
  3. Successful visa application for on-campus study, where applicable.
