2025 Global Curtin Scholarships  Merit Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is sponsored by Curtin University to support high-achieving international students worldwide. The Merit Scholarship aims to reward eligible students with outstanding academic achievements and provide them the chance to experience a world-class education at Curtin's Western Australia campuses.

This scholarship is open to international students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework (Master by Coursework only) degrees, excluding the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Eligible students can enjoy up to 25% off their first-year tuition fees.

  • Scholarship Type: Partial tuition fee waiver
  • Tuition Discount: 25% off first-year tuition fees (up to 200 credit points only)
  • Study Level: Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Coursework)

    • All undergraduate degrees (except Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
    • All postgraduate coursework degrees

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be international, fee-paying, non-sponsored students of any nationality except Australian.
  • Meet or exceed Curtin’s academic cut-off score for this scholarship.
  • Be commencing studies at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses for the first time in 2025.
  • Enroll in a full Curtin undergraduate or master by coursework program (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery excluded).

Selection Criteria 

This scholarship is merit-based and evaluates:

  • Academic achievements in prior studies.
  • Alignment of chosen course with career goals and previous academic background.
  • Demonstrated leadership and extracurricular achievements.

How to Apply

No separate scholarship application is required.

  • Apply for an eligible course at Curtin University through a registered education agent or directly online via the Curtin admissions portal.
  • All qualifying applications will be automatically assessed for the scholarship.
  • Successful applicants will receive a supplementary letter confirming the scholarship with their Letter of Offer.
