ACU Industry PhD Scholarships 2024/2025
The ACU Industry PhD Scholarships 2024/2025, offered by Australian Catholic University (ACU) in collaboration with industry partners, are designed to bring together academic research and industry needs. These scholarships allow PhD candidates to tackle real-world challenges by working closely with industry experts, while companies benefit from the candidates’ analytical skills, innovative insights, and academic resources. - Co-Funded by Industry: The industry partner provides $20,000 per annum for 3.5 years, and ACU matches this with $20,000 per annum, along with a tuition fee scholarship valued at $30,000 per annum.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:- Academic Qualifications: A Master’s degree or equivalent, with a strong academic background
- Research Proposal: A proposal that aligns with both ACU and the industry partner’s research goals
- Language Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS or TOEFL) if applicable
- Visa Requirements: Eligibility to meet Australian visa requirements for study
- Specific Criteria:
- Alignment with Industry Partner: The research proposal must address the industry partner's research objectives
- Collaboration Commitment: Candidates must actively engage with the industry partner throughout the PhD program
- Compliance with ACU Research Training Program standards
