About the position

La Trobe University Australia High Achiever Scholarships 2025

The La Trobe University Australia High Achiever Scholarship is designed to attract and reward high-performing international students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework at La Trobe University. The scholarship offers up to a 25% reduction in tuition fees for eligible international candidates, enabling them to achieve their academic goals at one of Australia’s leading institutions.

The scholarship is available to international students applying for the 2024-2025 intakes and aims to support academically talented students by reducing the financial burden of studying abroad.

 Scholarship Overview

• Scholarship type: Partial tuition fee reduction
• Scholarship amount: Up to 25% tuition fee reduction based on academic performance (Weighted Average Mark - WAM or equivalent scores)
  • 15% reduction: WAM of 60-69.9 or equivalent
  • 20% reduction: WAM of 70-74.9 or equivalent
  • 25% reduction: WAM of 75+ or equivalent
• Study Level: Undergraduate/Postgraduate coursework programs
• Eligible Subjects: All courses offered at La Trobe campuses except for excluded programs.
• Duration: For the entire duration of the chosen course, provided academic conditions are met.
• Deadline: 31 December 2025

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be future international students (excluding Australian and New Zealand citizens).
• Be applying for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at La Trobe University for the 2024-2025 intakes.
• Demonstrate high academic achievement, reflected in their WAM or ATAR equivalent.
• Be full fee-paying students (not receiving external sponsorship or holding humanitarian/permanent residency visas).

Selection Criteria

The selection is merit-based, primarily evaluated on:

• High academic performance, reflected by WAM or equivalent.
• Continued compliance with academic progress requirements throughout the course duration.
