ECU International Masters Scholarship 2025
Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers the International Masters Scholarship 2025 to international students from selected countries who are applying for specific Master’s degrees at ECU. The scholarship provides a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of the chosen Master’s course. This opportunity is available to international students starting their postgraduate coursework at ECU in Semester One, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of one of the eligible countries
  • Be an international student (not an Australian citizen or permanent resident)
  • Meet the ECU entry requirements for the chosen Master’s course
  • Commence study onshore in Western Australia at ECU in Semester One, 2025
  • Hold an offer, conditional offer, or packaged pathway offer from ECU
  • Apply to one of the eligible Master’s courses in Arts, Business, Education, Engineering, Science, or Medical and Health Sciences

Selection Criteria 

  • Merit-based evaluation of academic performance and entry requirements
  • Fulfillment of the course-specific requirements for admission
  • Eligibility determined by ECU Admissions Office upon course application

Eligible Courses

Examples of eligible courses include but are not limited to:

  • Arts and Humanities: Master of Communication
  • Business and Law: Master of Business Administration, Master of Human Resource Management, Master of Finance and Banking
  • Education: Master of Education, Master of Teaching (Primary, Secondary)
  • Engineering: Master of Engineering, Master of Technology
  • Science: Master of Bioinformatics, Master of Computer Science, Master of Environmental Science
  • Medical and Health Science: Master of Public Health, Master of Nutrition and Dietetics

Terms and Conditions

  • Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment (60 credit points per semester)
  • Scholarships are only applicable to tuition fees and cannot cover other student expenses
  • Transfer of the scholarship to another course or ECU campus is allowed as long as the new course is eligible
  • The scholarship cannot be deferred or transferred to another institution
  • Recipients must adhere to ECU’s academic and financial standing policies

How to Apply

No separate application is required for the International Masters Scholarship 2025. All international students who apply for an eligible ECU course and receive an offer will automatically be considered for the scholarship. The Admissions Office will notify successful candidates in a separate letter.

How to Accept the Scholarship

To accept the scholarship, students must:

  • Meet the conditions listed in their Letter of Offer
  • Fulfill all entry requirements for the ECU course
  • Pay the required deposit and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) as instructed in the Letter of Offer
