Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Meet Flinders University’s academic entry requirements for a Master’s or PhD by research.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Meet the English language requirements set by Flinders University (for international students).
  • Be a non-Australian citizen, a non-permanent resident of Australia, or a citizen of New Zealand.

Selection Criteria 

Selection will be based on academic merit and research potential, taking into account:

  • Academic achievements in previous studies (e.g., grades, ranking).
  • Research experience or potential in the chosen field of study.
  • The relevance of the chosen program to prior academic studies or professional experience.
  • Strong references or recommendations from academic referees.

How to Apply

To apply for the Flinders University RTP Scholarship, applicants must first apply for admission to a Higher Degree by Research program (either a PhD or Master of Research) at Flinders University. If you already have an admission offer for a research degree, you do not need to apply for admission again. The application for the scholarship is submitted through the university’s online portal.
