About the Position

The University Excellence Scholarship is a prestigious award offered by the University of Wollongong (UOW) to international students commencing their undergraduate studies in 2024. This scholarship is designed to recognize and reward outstanding academic achievement and provide financial support to help students achieve their academic goals.

• Scholarship Stipend Value:30% tuition fee reduction
• Degree Program: Undergraduate courses (excluding specified courses)
• Available in:Australia (UOW Australian campuses only)
• Number of Awards:Unlimited
• Host: University of Wollongong (UOW)
• Citizen type: International students
• Award Duration:Minimum duration of an eligible course
• Application Periods:Ongoing

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:
•  Enrol in any UOW undergraduate course in 2024 (Australian campuses only)
•  Exclude the following courses:

    - Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics

    - Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation

    - Bachelor of Nutrition Science

    - Bachelor of Exercise Science

    - Bachelor of Education (Primary, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Early Years)

    - Bachelor of Social Work

    - Bachelor of Psychological Science

    - Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours)

    - Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)

    - Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)

•  Be an international student
• Have excellent results in one of the following categories:

    - Australian Year 12 or equivalent international secondary school qualification

    - Foundation Studies programs approved for direct admission to Bachelor degrees and offered at an institution recognised by UOW

    - Diploma or other academic pathway program approved for admission with credit exemption from an institution with which UOW has a formal agreement

    - Academic programs (including Bachelor degrees) approved for admission into Bachelor degrees and offered at an institution recognised by UOW

- Not be in receipt of any other scholarship (excluding stipend scholarships), sponsorship, bursary, or discount

- Achieve a minimum cumulative Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50

How to Apply

No application is required. Students will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
