Australian National University (ANU) HDR Scholarships 2024-2025

The Australian National University (ANU) offers a range of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) scholarships to support outstanding research students from Australia and around the world. These scholarships are aimed at helping students pursue their research goals in a world-class academic environment.

Scholarship Overview

  • Scholarship Type: Full tuition fee cover
  • Stipend Value: Living allowance of AUD $34,000 per year
  • Other Supports: Relocation allowance of up to AUD $1,000 for students moving within Australia or up to AUD $2,500 for students moving from overseas.
  • Health Insurance: Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) 
  • Study Level: Masters by Research/PhD
  • Study Course: Open to all study areas

  • Number of Positions: Varies (around 200 scholarships are offered annually)

Eligibility

  • Be currently enrolled in a graduate research degree at ANU.
