2024 Cooke and Alfred Godfrey Scholarship at University of Sydney, Australia
This scholarship opportunity is being sponsored by the University of Sydney to support outstanding students in Australia and around the world to study at one of Australia's leading universities.
The opportunity is therefore open to domestic and international students to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney. See some application tips at the end of the post
Cooke and Alfred Godfrey Scholarship Benefits and Value
- Scholarship type: Partial tuition fee cover
- Stipend value: Living allowance of $25,000 per year pro-rata. The living allowance may be indexed annually and includes limited paid sick, maternity, and parenting leave.
- Other supports: Relocation allowance of $1,500 for students moving from States or Territories other than New South Wales or $2,500 for students moving from outside Australia.
- Health insurance: Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Single Membership for international students
- Study Level: Undergraduate/Postgraduate by Coursework or Research
- Study Course: Open to all study areas
- Citizen type: Domestic and international students
- Number of positions: Approximately 150
- Duration: Up to 4 years for undergraduate degree, up to 2 years for Masters by Coursework/Research, and up to 4 years for a PhD

Eligibility Criteria for Cooke and Alfred Godfrey Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants are expected to:
- Have applied for and met the entry requirements for a degree at the University of Sydney, or
- Be currently enrolled in a degree at the University of Sydney
Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this scholarship.
Eligible course or study program: Any program at the University of Sydney.
Selection Criteria for Cooke and Alfred Godfrey Scholarship
The selection criteria for this scholarship will be merit-based and the consideration of other outstanding achievement factors such as:
- Achievements from your previous study program (e.g., score, rank, etc.)
- Research potentials in your interested field of study
- Relevance of your chosen program to your previous studied program
- Relevant professional experiences
- Recommendations from your previous referees
