Adelaide Access Scholarships 2024-2025

This scholarship opportunity is being offered by the University of Adelaide to support students from various backgrounds who are commencing their undergraduate studies and have not previously commenced any post-secondary program of study.

The opportunity is therefore open to Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, New Zealand citizens, and permanent humanitarian visa holders who are commencing their undergraduate studies at the University of Adelaide. See some application tips at the end of the post!

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants are expected to:

  • Gain admission to an undergraduate Bachelor’s level course of study as a Commonwealth Supported student at the University of Adelaide commencing in 2025
  • Enrol on a full-time or part-time basis
  • Have not previously been enrolled in post-secondary study (university or VET)
  • Be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, New Zealand citizens, or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa
  • Demonstrate financial need*

*Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g., details of income-tested Commonwealth income support payments, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.

*Evidence of Tertiary Access Payment (TAP) application or approval does not demonstrate financial need.

  • Academic merit (ATAR)
  • Financial need
