Fully Funded Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (FIPRS) — Australia

This scholarship opportunity is being sponsored by Flinders University to support outstanding research students from around the world to undertake a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at one of Australia’s most innovative universities.

Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarships Benefits and Value

  • Scholarship type: Full tuition fee cover
  • Stipend value: Living allowance of $33,990 per year (2024 rate), tax-exempt and indexed annually
  • Other supports: Establishment allowance of up to $1,485 for relocation costs and airfares
  • Health insurance: Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international students
  • Study Level: Masters/PhD by Research

Eligibility Criteria for Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarships

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants are expected to:

  • Be a citizen of any overseas country except New Zealand and not hold Australian citizenship or Australian permanent resident status.
  • Intend to commence full-time study for a higher degree by research in Australia for the first time.
  • Enroll in an area of research concentration.
  • Satisfy all entry requirements for a higher degree by research, including English proficiency.
