ANU Alumni Postgraduate Support Scheme 2024: Tuition Fee Reductions for Eligible Postgraduate Courses

The Australian National University (ANU) alumni postgraduate support scheme assists our alumni to upskill or retrain to meet the challenges of our changing world.

The opportunity is open to all eligible ANU alumni, both domestic and international, to support their ongoing postgraduate studies at ANU commencing in 2024. See some application tips at the end of the post!

ANU Alumni Postgraduate Support Scheme Benefits and Value

  • Scholarship type: Tuition fee reduction
  • Tuition fee reduction: 10% reduction on most postgraduate courses at ANU
  • Study Level: Postgraduate coursework
  • Citizen type: Domestic and international students
  • Number of positions: Unlimited (all eligible applicants)
  • Duration: Throughout the duration of the enrolled program
  • Deadline: 31 December 2024

Eligibility Criteria for ANU Alumni Postgraduate Support Scheme

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants are expected to:

  • Be an ANU alumnus
  • Meet the entry requirements for a postgraduate coursework program at ANU
  • Enroll and commence study in 2024

Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this scholarship

Eligible courses or study programs: Most postgraduate courses at ANU, with some exclusions such as those delivered in partnership with the Australian War College of the Australian Defence Force (Graduate Certificate of Military and Defence Studies, Graduate Diploma of Military and Defence Studies, Master of Military and Defence Studies, Master of Military and Defence Studies (Advanced)) or other contracted partnerships. Additional courses may be nominated for exclusion by the relevant Associate Dean (Education) as course offerings change in the future.

Selection Criteria for ANU Alumni Postgraduate Support Scheme

The selection criteria for this scholarship will be merit-based and consider the following factors:

  • Achievements from your previous study program, such as score and rank
  • Relevance of your chosen program to your previous studied program
  • Relevant professional experiences
  • Recommendations from your previous referees

How to Apply

Eligible ANU alumni who enroll in an eligible ANU postgraduate coursework program and commence study in 2024 will receive an automatic waiver of 10 per cent on their tuition fees for any postgraduate coursework units undertaken in that program of study. The 10 per cent reduction will be applied to the student's tuition fees after enrolment.
