for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne or be
currently enrolled in such a program.

Selection criteria
These scholarships will be awarded based on merit, which includes academic
achievements such as:
- Scores and ranks from your previous study program
- Research potentials in your interested field of study
- Relevance of your chosen program to your previous study program
- Relevant professional experiences
- Recommendations from your previous referees
- Research skills demonstrated through publications and other relevant
works.

Melbourne Undergraduate Scholarships for international students(Up to 1000
slots available)
Melbourne University offers 1000 scholarships every year to exceptional
international students who want to pursue their studies in Australia. The
primary aim of the scholarship program is to attract and retain highly
talented international students to study at Melbourne University,
Australia.
The scholarship is awarded to acknowledge and reward the outstanding
academic performance of international students. Successful applicants can
receive either a 100% scholarship or a 50% tuition fee remission worth
$10,000. The scholarship is open to all study areas. It is available only
for international students who meet the admission requirements of the
university. The university automatically considers all applicants who have
been admitted to any program.
Eligibility Criteria for Melbourne International Undergraduate
Scholarships
To qualify for this scholarship as an international applicant, you must
meet certain eligibility requirements which include:

be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not
a permanent resident of Australia;

have received an offer for an undergraduate course at the University of
Melbourne;

have at least a secondary school result that places you in the top 3%,
