Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship
(International), Flinders Universities(MSc/PhD)
International students are invited to apply for the Australian
Government Research Training Program Scholarships(AGRTPS) at Flinders
University. These are multiple fully funded Masters research and PhD
scholarships, open within any field of study across the University. The
AGRTPS scholarships are provided to support all eligible international
students interested to undertake a Higher Degree by research at
Flinders.
The AGRTPS scholarships are tenable for up to 3 years for a Research
Doctorate degree and up to 2 years for a Research Masters degree. The
successful recipients must be available to study full-time at Flinders
University and must be commencing a higher degree by research in Australia
for the first time. The scholarships will provide full tuition support,
relocation and living allowance for the successful applicants.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the AGRTPS scholarships, applicants:

Must be an International student

Intend to commence full-time study for a higher degree by research in
Australia for the first time, in the year for which the award is
to be offered

Intend to enrol in an area of research concentration. These are
areas in which the University has a particular strength, has
concentrated its research resources and has attracted external
funding

Meet all the entry requirements to undertake a higher degree by
research(MSC/PhD) program at Flinders University, including the

The AGRPS scholarships are very competitive. The scholarships are awarded
to applicants who demonstrate outstanding aptitude for independent

Important application details

Applicants must successfully secure a potential
supervisor. Applicants who do not have a supervisor at the time of
application will not be considered for an AGRTPS.

Academic Transcripts. Applicants must provide certified copies of
all university-level academic transcripts, which should be all in
English.

Research Proposal. Applicants must include a research proposal of
approximately 500 words in length, outlining the problem, hypothesis or
question and the methodology or approach.
