Destination Australia Scholarships 2022, University Queensland

The Destination Australia Scholarships for international students are funded by the Australian Government to support studies in Regional Australia. The scholarships are available via a hosting Institution in a regional Australian university campus. Destination Australia scholarships align with the National Strategy for International Education 2025. The main goal of the scholarship is to attract and bring development to regional Australia.

The scholarship provides $15000 towards tuition fees and other academic support for the successful recipients. The Destination Australia Scholarships 2022 at Queensland University is open for a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate coursework degree programs

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the University of Queensland Destination Australia scholarships 2022, interested applicant :

is an international student
holds a student visa for the scholarship's duration
is a new UQ student
you are UQ alumni commencing a different program (for example, Masters after completing a Bachelor’s degree)
have a full offer to study an eligible program delivered entirely at the UQ Gatton campus in 2022 (you don’t need to accept your full offer by the scholarship application deadline).

And you:

will study full-time via Internal study mode at UQ’s Gatton campus for the scholarship’s duration

reside in a regional area of Australia for the scholarship’s duration.

Applicants must be applying for any of the eligible Undergraduate and postgraduate courses as outlined below
