The University of New England Australian Government Research Training Program
(RTP) International Stipend Scholarships 2024-2025
The University of New England is inviting applications for the 2024-2025 Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) International Stipend
Scholarships. The RTP International Stipend Scholarships are open for
eligible international students to undertake Masters or PhD research degree
programs across a broad range of fields in UNE.
The RTP International Stipend Scholarships provide a living
allowance and tuition fees for high-quality research higher degree students.
These scholarships are awarded to eligible applicants based on academic merit,
research experience, and/or potential. Interested applicants must be enrolled
full-time on campus for the duration of the scholarships

Eligibility Criteria for the UNE RTP International Stipend
Scholarships
To be considered for the UNE RTP International Stipend
Scholarships, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

Interested applicants must be international or domestic students
enrolled/to be enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at an
Australian HEP.

The student must not be receiving income from another source to support
that student’s general living costs while undertaking their course of
study if that income is greater than 75 per cent of that student’s RTP
Stipend rate. Income unrelated to the student’s course of study or
income received for the student’s course of study but not for the
purposes of supporting general living costs is not to be taken into
account.

The student must not be receiving an equivalent award or scholarship
from the Commonwealth designed to offset HDR fees.
How to apply for the UNE RTP International Stipend
Scholarships
To apply for this scholarship;
Applicants are also expected to submit a Supervisory Statement of
Support.
This is a statement of Statement Support from the Principal
Supervisor outlining an alignment of the applicant’s research proposal with
the School's research priorities and providing a clear indication of the level
of support of the student’s project. This should not be more than 500 words.
This can be submitted directly by the principal supervisor via hdrdocuments@une.edu.au
or provided to you to attach with your other application forms.
