Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2024
Applications are currently being accepted for the Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (GUPRS). These scholarships are open to eligible international students who wish to undertake a research degree program in any field of their choice at the University.
The GUPRS scholarships cover full tuition fees for up to 2 years for Master research and up to 3 years for PhD research. Additionally, the scholarships provide Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the applicant and any dependants for the duration of the scholarship. Round
The scholarships are available in multiple rounds, and you can submit your application at any time. However, it is recommended to apply before the deadline of the preferred intake date, which is at least four months prior to the commencement of the University's various intake dates. In case you are successful with your scholarship application but miss the preferred intake date, you can defer your commencement until the next intake date. Eligibility Criteria for GUPRS
To be eligible for the Griffith University International Postgraduate
Research Scholarship 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an international applicant

Must be commencing or enrolled in a research program (for which GUPRS
support is available)

Applicant must not be in receipt of an equivalent award or scholarship
from the Commonwealth Government designed to offset research program tuition
fees
Selection criteria
In order to be considered for these scholarships, the first step is to review the applications for eligibility to enter into Griffith HDR programs (MSc/PhD). Once the eligibility is confirmed, the applications are forwarded to the relevant school or department for further assessment to determine eligibility for the specific degree program and the scholarship. The final decision is made by the Dean of the relevant Group and the Dean of Griffith Graduate Research School. The recipients are then ranked and selected based on specific criteria.
