About Central Queensland University(CQU) Australian Government Research Training Stipend Scholarships for International students
Research Training Stipend Scholarships are Australian government sponsored programs to support eligible international students to undertake research in Australia. The scholarship is open for a diverse range of research interests across the University.

Eligibility criteria for RTP scholarships, CQU
To be eligible for RPT scholarships to study at CQU, Australia, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be Australian Citizen; Permanent Resident; Permanent Humanitarian Visa; International; New Zealand Citizen
- Candidate must not be receiving income from another source to support the candidate’s general living costs while undertaking their course of study if that income is greater than 75 per cent of the candidate’s RTP Stipend rate
- Candidate must not be receiving an equivalent award of scholarship from the Commonwealth designed to offset RHD tuition fees.
Selection criteria
This is a merit based scholarship. Therefore eligible applicants will be selected based on the following criteria or (3 assessment scales):
- Academic achievement and writing skills (0-20 points)
- Quality of research project and alignment with CQUniversity research priority areas (0-15 points)
- Evidence of motivation, research experience and research environment (0-15 points)

There are no direct applications for RTP Scholarships to study at CQC. To apply, interested applicants should ;

- Prospective applicants will be invited by the School of Graduate Research to complete an application base on the recommendation from the supervisory team
