About the positions
The Australia National University is currently offering two fully-funded
PhD scholarship opportunities in the field of environment and society. The
scholarship intends to support some outstanding international or domestic
students to undertake research at ANU.
This funding is provided by the Fenner School known as the Fenner School of
Environment & Society PhD Scholarship. The goal of the award is to
attract some top students with strong research potential to this college.
The scholarship provides full-tuition support and other financial benefits
including dependent Child Allowance (for international recipients), Relocation Allowance, and Thesis reimbursement. See other details below.

Research scholarship stipend value: $28,597 per annum (2022
rate) indexed annually

Living allowance, fortnight

Depended Child Allowance: up to $3,000 per annum for each dependent child
(to a maximum of $9,000 per annum)

Relocation Allowance: Up to $1,000 for Domestic students, or $2,500 for
International students

Thesis reimbursement: up to $500 for printing and other services
associated with the production of their thesis

Eligibility criteria for this scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be able to meet the
following requirements;
Be either a domestic or an international student; and
enrolling full-time in a program of study for the degree of Doctor of
Philosophy, in the Fenner School of Environment & Society, at the
Australian National University
selection criteria
This is a merit-based scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to the
selected applicants based:

On the assessment of their research potential,

an assessment of overall performance in previous studies as well
-
an assessment of their most recent graded research writing (thesis) and
accomplishments (research publications, awards, referee
evaluation)
The selection committee will judge on the above criteria for the
award.

Environment & Society PhD Scholarship.
