Eligibility criteria for RTP stipend scholarships CDU
To be eligible for RTP stipend scholarships at CDU, interested applicants
are expected to meet the Australian Government RTP eligibility
requirements as follows :

You must be enrolled in an accredited HDR course of study at an
Australian Higher Education Provider (HEP).

You must not be receiving income from another source to support your
general living costs while enrolled in a course of study if that
income is greater than 75% of the RTP stipend rate.
Tips: Note that apart from the above the mentioned eligibility
criteria, applicants must also meet the University entry requirements and
conditions. In Charles Darwin University entry requirements for a Masters
Research programs include:

a Bachelor Honours degree with first-class or second-class
honours or

a Master by Coursework or Extended Masters, which contains a
substantial research component

English entry requirements. IELTS (Academic) 6.5 with no band
less than 6.0, or an equivalent English proficiency test
result.
Entry requirements for a PhD research program include :

a Bachelor Honours degree with first-class honours or
second-class honours division or
-
a Master's qualification that contains a substantial research
component ie some publications etc..

How to apply for RTP stipend scholarships CDU
There is no separate application for admissions and scholarships. The whole
application process is done online on the CDU apply now portal. You
will have to submit an expression of interest first to the HDR team
before being invited to apply for admission and the specific scholarship and
then contact a potential supervisor. If this has been approved, the online
application process is very simple. All you need is a valid email address to
create your online account. Once you have started the application, you will
have the option of saving your application and resuming it later. There is
no application fee when you apply online.
