About the position

 Monash International Leadership Scholarship

Monash International Leadership Scholarship is a full-tuition support opportunity sponsored by Monash University. The scholarship aims to support outstanding and high-achieving international students to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate courses to study at Monash University. The scholarship program also has a significant aim to recruit ambassadors for Monash University. As one of the benefits of an ambassador, recipients may be asked to participate or be profiled in relevant Monash marketing, recruitment and promotional materials and/or events

All eligible internationals are encouraged to apply, especially those offered a place already to study at Monash University.

Application for the Monash scholarship is all year round. 

Selection round and closing dates:

1. Round one: 15 October. Commencement_Semester one or two of the following year
2. Round two: 15 November. Commencement_ Semester one or two of the following year
3. Round three: 15 January. Commencement_Semester one or two of the current year
4. Round four: 15 March. Commencement_Semester two of the current year
5. Round five: 15 April. Commencement_Semester two of the current year
6. Round six: 30 June. Commencement_Semester two of the current year

Eligibility Criteria for the  Monash International Leadership Scholarship             

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants :

• must be intending to enrol full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree 
• or Must have received a full Monash course offer.
• Applicant must not be the recipient of any other scholarships including grants or financial incentives that are funded by Monash University or be sponsored by other bodies/institutions.

Other Instructions 

 All other courses are  eligible to apply for this scholarship except the followings:

•  Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
• Pathway programs (e.g. Monash College and Monash University Foundation Year).
• Students studying Australian Year 12 

Scholarship selection criteria

The eligible applicants for this scholarship will be selected:

• Based on academic achievement.
•  Based on the scholarship application statement (500 words) ie Statement of Purpose and 
• their potential to be an ambassador for Monash University.

Special condition:

If the scholarship is awarded, to retain the scholarship:

• The recipient must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 each semester.
• The recipient will be required to participate in at least three Marketing and/or Scholarship promotional activities. These activities include attendance at official scholarship functions and participating in marketing activities and networking events.
