Scholarships to study at Griffith University are very competitive. To be eligible for this scholarship, interested applicants :
must be commencing or enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research program (for which RTP support is available) at Griffith University
must not be receiving income from another source to support their general living costs that provide a benefit greater than 75% of the RTP stipend

Selection process and criteria
Application received will be processed within the Griffith Graduate Research School to be reviewed for eligibility for entry into Griffith research programs. Next, this will be then forwarded to the appropriate school/college for assessment. The Dean of that college will make the final assessment
Applications that meet the entry requirements will be selected and are assessed and ranked in an order of merit, in the proposed host school, department, research centre, and academic group. The selection criteria will be based on the Higher Degree by Research Scholarship Policy and take into consideration :
- Academic merit,
- Previous qualification rankings and research output
- Research potentials
- Any other eligible qualifications and many others!

The application process is online via the Griffith University Application portal. Applicants must first submit an online application for the research degree of choice, which also includes a section for scholarship application.
