About ANU Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Fee Merit
Scholarship
The ANU HDR Fee Merit Scholarship is a great opportunity offered
each year by the Australian National University to support
high-achieving international HDR students who are conducting research that
aligns with the strategic directions of the University. This is being
supported currently by he ANU University Research Scholarship
Scholarship Benefits and Value
This is a fully funded scholarship opportunity accompanied by other
international student supports:

Covers full tuition fees

Covers full Overseas Health Cover (OSHC), including family

Field of study: Open to any

Study level: Masters/PhD (HRD)

Application deadline: Opens in Rounds(Current deadline, 31 August for
Rd 1)
- Selection is merit base
Two rounds are open annually for this scholarship. Round 1, deadline on
31 August, and Round 2, deadline of 15 April annually. International
students are encouraged to apply for admission by either 15 April or 31
August every year.

Eligibility Criteria for the ANU HDR Fee Merit
Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a prospective or
continuing student who is :
-
is an international student enrolling in an accredited HDR course of
study at the University; and
-
has also been awarded an ANU University Research Scholarship; and
-
has achieved a minimum of H1 or H1 equivalent in their prior
studies
How to apply for the ANU HDR Fee Merit Scholarship
Good news! No application is required for this scholarship. You are
automatically considered once you gain admission. While applying for
admissions, you must indicate your interest in this scholarship in the
provided space on the admission forms.
Applicants can submit their applications online via ANU Programs & Courses website.
Tips- Before submitting an application please make sure you have properly
the eligibility criteria for that course, must have gotten approval from a
potential supervisor etc
